Mr Jeremy Rowe
Jeremy Rowe qualified (BDS) from Bristol University in 1988 and subsequently obtained his DPDS in 2007 (also from Bristol University). He started at the practice in 1992 and is currently our longest standing member of staff. During this time he has also been a committee member of the Local Dental Committee and of the regional branch of the British Dental Association. He is the most senior clinician at the practice.

Professor James Prichard
Special Interest in Endodontics

Visiting Professor and Course Director, Masters Programmes in Endodontology at the College of Medicine and Dentistry.
Professor Prichard is a renowned teacher in Endodontics, delivering hands on courses, lectures and seminars throughout the UK and overseas. He has held the posts of Associate Clinical Teacher, Clinical Teaching Fellow and Clinical Supervisor in Endodontics on the Masters Programme at The University of Warwick prior to joining BPP University in London as Visiting Professor and Programme leader for the MClinDent in Endodontology. He is currently Visiting Professor and Course Director of Endodontic Masters Programmes at the College of Medicine and Dentistry in Birmingham. He has supervised several Masters research projects and has published in several scientific journals including the International Endodontic Journal and The British Dental Journal. He has lectured at many international conferences including the British Dental Association annual meeting, the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the AEEDC in Dubai and the PAEC in Cairo. He is an International Key Opinion Leader for FKG Dentaire and has demonstrated the latest advances in endodontic technology for Schottlander and FKG Dentaire at the Dental Showcases and Dentistry Show in the UK since 2004. He gained his Masters Degree (MSc) in Restorative Dental Practice with distinction for his dissertation on ultrasonic cleaning of root canals which he completed at The Eastman Dental Institute in London. He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Aesthetics in New York, an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry.

Dr Rehanna Beckhurst
Dentist (GDC 210244)
Dr R Beckhurst qualified as a dentist in 2003, and always had a profound interest in cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic medicine.
She qualified and has been practicing facial aesthetics since 2012 and is continuously attending courses and conferences to learn new techniques and improve her knowledge and skills as both a dentist and aesthetician.
As well as general dentistry, Rehanna also offers cosmetic dentistry (veneers, crowns, teeth whitening and short term adult orthodontics) and facial aesthetics.
Rehanna has recently obtained a Level 7 APEL and postgraduate certificate in aesthetic non-surgical interventions (Pg Cert ANSI) and she was also originally the first practitioner in North Devon to be accredited by Save Face.
Rehanna always says: ‘Works of art are being continuously restored overtime – isn’t a person a work of art, too?’
Rehanna lives in North Devon with her husband and two daughters, and in her free time enjoys spending time outdoors, exercising, reading, walking and travelling.

Dr Barrie Huxtable
BCHD, has been at the practice since 2002. He qualified from Leeds University in 1997. He then joined the Royal Navy as a Dental surgeon. He spent five years in The Royal Navy, including two years with The Royal Marines.

Dr Helen Pang
BDS, LDS RCS joined the practice in September 2014. Helen qualified in 1991 at The London Hospital and has been practicing in North Devon since 1998.

Dr Nicola Sampson
Nicola Sampson (BDS London, BSc) qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Dentistry in 2003. She has practiced in the Torridge area since then, and has been at the practice since May 2017

Dr Mitesh Badiani
Special interest in implants
Mitesh Badiani has placed over 4000 implants since 1999 and is multi-disciplined in the use of various dental implant systems. He is the clinical lead of six private practices. In 2015, Mitesh was awarded National Dentist of the Year at the Dental Awards and also Dentist of the Year at the Primary Care Awards for his clinical expertise, commitment to patient care and his dedication to teaching and mentoring colleagues around the country. Mitesh was recognised with a life-time achievement award in 2014 for his dedication and charity work with medically discharged Royal Marines.
Dr Badiani has lectured widely throughout the UK and abroad on dental implant treatment and also provides a variety of postgraduate courses for dentists with a special interest in this field.

Mrs Wendy Climie
Qualified at Guys Hospital in 1987 and became a tutor hygienist, teaching at Kings College London in 1990. Throughout her career, Wendy has mostly worked in private practices alongside periodontal specialists and has keen interest in working with advanced periodontal conditions and also patients with phobias and anxieties. Wendy has worked at Quay Dental Practice since January 2018.

Miss Sharon Jones
Sharon qualified from Sheffield dental school in 1994. She moved to North Devon where she has practiced since that time.
She is an empathetic person who will always take the time to put patients at ease no matter how nervous or anxious someone may be.
She also has lots of experience with people on the autistic spectrum and has completed many courses on autism and related conditions.
Sharon has three children and when she’s not running around after them, she enjoys running for herself.

Faye joined the practice in 2013, initially as a receptionist. Her role has evolved over time now enjoying the position of practice manager. She has recently studied Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing to help aid her working knowledge of her role. She is currently studying her Diploma in Management with the Institute of Leadership and Management. She cares about people and is always happy to help. In her spare time, Faye likes making and baking, music and especially enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Dental Nurse & Compliance Lead
Vikki is our compliance lead within the Quay Dental Practice as well as a dental nurse. She joined the practice in 2007, initially as a receptionist going on to study and become a qualified dental nurse in 2012. In her spare time, Vikki enjoys netball and running, having also completed the London Marathon in 2019! She especially enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Lead Dental Nurse
Sophia is our lead dental nurse who began her dental nursing career in 1986. She joined the Quay Dental Practice in 2007 working with the foundation dentists and now works alongside our endodontic expert Professor James Prichard. In her spare time, Sophia enjoys running, baking and spending time with family.

Amber joined the Quay Dental Practice in 2013 as an apprentice dental nurse going on to complete her Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2015. In her spare time, Amber enjoys baking and art.

Lorisa has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics and she works alongside Dr Rehanna Beckhurst. In her spare time, Lorisa enjoys going to car shows and spending time with her family.

Julia is our receptionist and joined the Quay Dental Practice in 2013. Julia was born, and has lived, in and around Bideford all her life. When not working, Julia enjoys crafts, reading and gardening – usually attacking weeds rather than achieving the grand plan.

Danielle joined the Quay Dental Practice in 2016 and trained to gain her Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing. She is currently involved with reception. In her spare time, Danielle likes spending time with friends and family.
